Using the Discover Page To begin your search, navigate to the Discover Page. Search Options Use the search box to find mentors by:- Category (e.g., career development, entrepreneurship)
- Mentor name
- Location (e.g., search for mentors in Houston if you want local guidance)
- Categories: Academics, Career Development, Entrepreneurship, Leadership Coaching, Personal Development
- Price Ranges: Select mentors that fit your budget
- Cities: Choose mentors in a specific city or region
- Availability: Filter by time of day—Early Morning, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Late Night
Booking Steps
- Click on a mentor’s profile.
- Select a session duration (30 or 60 minutes) on the calendar.
- Choose a date and time you are available.
- Click Book Now to confirm your session and complete your purchase.
Tips for Finding the Right Mentor
- Use multiple filters to narrow down your search.
- Consider a mentor’s location if you prefer in-person meetings or want someone familiar with your city.
- Review mentor profiles for experience, skills, and their reasons for mentoring to ensure they align with your goals.
- Booking without checking a mentor’s availability.
- Ignoring price ranges and filters, which can lead to a mismatch.

2. After Booking a Mentor
Mentor Confirmation After you book, your mentor will confirm the appointment. Email Notification Once confirmed, you will receive an email with:- The session link (Google Meet or Zoom)
- A calendar invite to add to your personal calendar
- Ensure you have access to Zoom or Google Meet before your session.
- Add the calendar invite to your personal calendar immediately to avoid missing the meeting.
- Review the mentor’s profile and your notes beforehand to prepare questions and topics.
- Not checking your email for the confirmation and session link.
- Forgetting to add the session to your calendar.
- Booking multiple overlapping sessions.
